Program Overview
At Barrizi Organization, we understand that to save a child, you must uplift their
environment. You cannot educate a student in isolation if they return to a home paralyzed by
extreme poverty, unsafe living conditions, and despair. Our Community Transformation
initiative is the glue that holds our interventions together, employing a holistic,
family-centred model that creates lasting, systemic change in Dandora.
We work directly with community elders, local authorities, and highly vulnerable families to deliver high-impact interventions. By addressing the root causes of poverty such as lack of sanitation, localized violence, and systemic unemployment we ensure that our educational and vocational programs are built on a sustainable, resilient foundation.

What We Do
- Family-Centred Support: Working directly with the parents and guardians of our enrolled children to improve household stability.
- Advocacy & Awareness: Running community campaigns against child labor, exploitation, and gender-based violence.
- Emergency Interventions: Providing rapid relief (food, basic medical support) to the most critically vulnerable families in the slums.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Continuously assessing the living conditions of our beneficiaries to adapt our support structures.
- Sustainable Development: Partnering with local authorities to promote safer living conditions around the dumpsite.
