Program Overview
Education is the most powerful weapon we have to break the generational cycle of poverty in the Dandora dumpsite community. Every day, countless children are forced to earn as little as $1.50 a day scavenging through waste, exposing themselves to extreme health hazards, child labor, and exploitation. Our Education Support program is designed to pull these vulnerable children out of the dumpsite and place them into safe, nurturing classrooms.
We recognize that high dropout rates are often driven by hunger just as much as a lack of school fees. Therefore, our approach is holistic. We don't just pay for tuition; we provide the wrap-around support necessary for a child to focus entirely on their studies. By removing the financial and physical barriers to education, we are creating direct pathways out of poverty and towards dignity, independence, and hope.

What We Do
- School Enrollment & Tuition: Full sponsorship of school fees to ensure uninterrupted learning.
- Uniforms & Clothing: Providing complete school uniforms, shoes, and physical education attire to restore dignity and equality among peers.
- Books & Stationery: Supplying all necessary learning materials, textbooks, and writing supplies.
- Daily School Meals: Operating a comprehensive feeding programme that increases school retention and ensures no child tries to learn on an empty stomach.
- Holistic Well-being Tracking: Regular check-ins with teachers and families to monitor academic progress and emotional health.
